History

⚫ In 1898, the Second Public School was established to enroll male and female students, which marked the beginning of Liren Elementary School.

⚫ In 1909, the school moved to the current location on Ximen Road.

⚫ In 1928, it was renamed as Bao Public School.

⚫ In 1935, the new two-story Zhongxiao Building was built.

⚫ In 1942, it was renamed Tainan Bao Primary School.

⚫ In 1946, it was renamed Tainan City North District First Primary School.

⚫ In 1947, it was renamed Tainan City North District Liren Primary School.

⚫ In 1949, the attached kindergarten was established.

⚫ In 1968, the school changed to its current name, Tainan City North District Liren Elementary School.

⚫ In 1982, the Art Education Experimental Class was established.

⚫ In 1985, the Ministry of Education designated the school as a key school for the development of baseball.

⚫ In 1987, the Art Education Experimental Class was renamed the Art Class.
